The 7T system
A straightforward wide-bore, 89 mm magnet, equipped with a 300 mT/m mini-gradient system from Bruker.This system is used for objects with a diameter less than 34 mm (pot size), although small plants can often be folded as to fit within magnet. A simple climatisation system is available.

The 4.7T system
A special wide-bore, 310 mm magnet, equipped with a 300 mT/m 210 mm wide gradient system. Furthermore there are four commercial r.f. coils.

• A 63 mm quad birdcage
• A 104 mm quad birdcage
• A 170 mm quad birdcage
• A 40 mm openable birdcage

Furthermore several small r.f. coils have been manufactured locally.
Heavy objects up to 500 kg can be lifted into the magnet using a crane. Objects up to 200 kg can be positioned with a computer-controlled positioning system for repetitive studies with an accuracy of about 20 µm. An environmental control system will be completed in the spring of 2009.

The 1.5T system
This split-coil magnet is unique in its kind. It will be delivered in march 2009 and should be operational in may 2009.
